1. Give your taste buds time. When transitioning to a healthy diet first just reduce ingredients, which although don't do you good, you can't live without them. For example, if you currently drink coffee with 2 teaspoons of sugar, from tomorrow start getting to know coffee that contains only one teaspoon of sugar. In a few days maybe just a hint of sweetness will be enough for you. Or, if you can't imagine baked potatoes without mayonnaise, next time reduce your usual dose by half and supplement for example with avocado puree or white yogurt.

2. The world is full of spices and herbs. Red, yellow, green, dark, pale, spicy, sweetish... Start making friends with them, they will speed up your journey to a fit diet beautifully. How would you like to prepare baked potatoes with a pinch of salt, chilli, rosemary or basil next time instead of fries. Feel free to experiment.

3. Trust healthy recipes. Habit is second nature, and if your cooking knowledge was acquired from traditional Slovak recipe books, it is quite possible that in the world of fit ratios, combinations, tastes you do not move intuitively. You need new experiences and knowledge.

4. Focus on quality. Don't want to eat cheap, investment in food is investment in health, which in turn represents investment in a satisfied future. When buying food take into account ingredients, origin, freshness and other characteristics. The advantage of quality food is also better taste and higher nutritional value.

5. Don't make radical changes and don't torture yourself. Strong will brings roses, but slowly you will go further. For example, if you are tormented all day by an irresistible craving for a chocolate bar so much that you really can't think of anything else, treat yourself to one.

Well and freedom of choice does a lot too. If you are already in the convenience store, at the shelf with sweets, it is up to you whether you choose quality chocolate with high cocoa content or a product full of "artificials".
