1. Rashes out of nowhere, diarrhea in most inappropriate moments, afternoon swelling... If you repeatedly record some of these symptoms or other signs, try to remember or observe if it doesn't happen after consuming some specific food. They can come immediately or several hours after meal.

2. Don't experiment with treatment and don't diagnose yourself, experts are for that. Attempts at self-help identification of allergen can be dangerous, especially if your allergic reactions are strong. Allergies are diagnosed using various tests performed by allergist.

3. If you suspect or maybe even have diagnosed food allergy, don't neglect treatment. It usually leads to worsening of symptoms, even new ones can appear. That is then direct path to reduced quality of life, constant discomfort, fatigue, in some cases pain. In some there is also risk of anaphylactic shock, and you really don't need that...

4. When allergist identifies your allergens, i.e. substances that trigger your allergic reactions, you will have to avoid them. Read food labels and rather make sure twice even in restaurants. 

5. Healthy diet rich in fruit, vegetables, whole grains and omega-3 fatty acids can help reduce overall inflammation in body, which can have beneficial effect on allergic reactions.

6. Immune system is overloaded during allergies. Healthy diet, regular movement and sufficient sleep can strengthen it. Healthy lifestyle cannot completely cure food allergy, of course, you must continue to avoid allergens.
