1. If you have weak back, prefer trainings that strengthen muscles without overload, at same time prevent further problems. Pilates and yoga are great for strengthening deep muscles, improving posture and flexibility. Another great choice is swimming, which thanks to movement in water doesn't burden joints or spine, but strengthens muscles of whole body. Or try functional training with emphasis on correct technique of exercises like plank, bird-dog or superman. We cannot omit physiotherapeutic exercises – specialized exercises recommended by expert who can suggest solutions for your specific problem.
2. Regarding specific exercises, we recommend those engaging deep back and core muscles. Plank is effective exercise for strengthening muscles of whole body including back. Superman (lifting arms and legs from prone position) targets directly lower back. Deadlift with light weight helps build back muscle strength and improve posture. Regular stretching exercises, like cat-cow, support flexibility and regeneration.

3. Although this measure won't be enough without exercise, but you can strengthen muscles supporting back also by correct sitting. Ergonomic sitting with active engagement of trunk muscles helps maintain correct posture, thereby preventing spine overload. Key is to sit on chair supporting natural spine curvature, with feet firmly on ground and hips slightly higher than knees. You can also try dynamic sitting, for example on balance aids, which gently activate stabilizing muscles.
4. We got to probably most pleasant point of this post: massages. Relax stiff muscles, thereby reducing tension often arising due to incorrect posture or overload. Improve blood circulation in tissues, supporting muscle regeneration and alleviating pain. Regular massages also increase spine flexibility and mobility, contributing to overall back stability and strength. Besides physical benefits massages help mentally too – alleviate stress and tension, which can indirectly affect health of back muscles.
