
1. Instead of butter or oil, you can use Greek yogurt. It tastes great and has many health benefits, for example, it is a source of vitamin D. You can also choose a plain, unsweetened version with less sugar.
2. Do you love bubble cake? If you coat stone fruit in flour first, you will avoid it sinking to the bottom of the dough.
3. Does it happen to you too that cake batter dries out during baking? The solution will be if you put one baking dish with 1-2 dcl of water in the oven as well.
4. Does the large amount of sugar in traditional recipes bother you? Replace this ingredient with apple puree or sauce (ideally with skin for maximum nutrition) or mashed bananas in a 1:1 ratio.
5. Temperature matters. Always take fluffy dough, soft cakes out of the oven only after cooling down. In addition, never cut a cake while hot. If you have no choice, dip the knife in hot water, wipe it and only then start portioning.
