1. A good way to keep New Year's resolutions is if at the beginning you reduce the plural to singular. That is, you will focus on one New Year's promise at a time. Any change in the normal course of life is a change to which you must adapt. If you overdo it, you lose energy and motivation more easily, while increasing the risk of failure.

2. Although it is said that "it's all in the head", keeping New Year's resolutions is after all also about practical measures. If you want to devote more time to sports, take care of new quality sneakers and include training days in your schedule. If your goal is to reduce the consumption of sweets, get rid of all such foods in your household and replace them with fragrant fruit.

3. If you feel that your resolutions are starting to be a burden for you, slow down for a while. Take a bird's eye view and think about what was the original reason for the given promises. Remember your goal, about where keeping individual resolutions should get you.

4. Write everything down on paper. Even if you are not a visual type, even if you are the king of memorized shopping lists, even if you consider your memory to be your strongest weapon. The point is that what is on paper carries more weight. Who knows why, but we take the written word much more seriously.
