1. Mindfulness consists in intentionally, with curiosity and openly directing your attention to perceptions and experiences of present moment without any evaluation. You don't qualify, don't judge whether thought or feeling is correct or incorrect. Just observe.

2. By observing exclusively present moment you can experience experiences more intensely, easier accept what you don't control and get rid of large dose of stress. So, mindfulness is such approach to everyday events that increases quality of life.

3. Mindfulness improves physical health by reducing stress, i.e. lowers level of stress hormones, like cortisol for example. Also can help improve sleep quality, lower blood pressure, even reduce pain, because it teaches you to focus on present moment and accept pain without judging, making it less disturbing.

4. In connection with exercise mindfulness brings several benefits. Helps get rid of disturbing thoughts and fully focus on exercise and leads to more precise coordination and better technique of exercise. Moreover, perceiving present moment and realizing own progress strengthen motivation and perseverance.

5. Mindfulness will help you accept yourself. As you are. Without evaluation or criticizing. This self-acceptance is key step to building healthy self-confidence.
