1. With an old toothbrush not only will you not clean your teeth thoroughly, but hardened, damaged bristles can also damage your gums. Think about replacing it every second to third month, if you need, feel free to do it more often.

2. Clean your tongue too, because bacteria settle in this part of the oral cavity as well. If you skip it when brushing teeth, your breath may remain unpleasant.

3. Even dry mouth is an enemy of teeth. Saliva contains important enzymes, which help destroy harmful bacteria and prevent bad breath.

4. Avoid smoking, because besides causing yellowing of teeth, it can be a cause of gum inflammation, even tumor diseases.

5. Brush your teeth at least twice a day. In the morning definitely before breakfast and in the evening approximately 1-2 hours after dinner. Acidic foods and drinks soften tooth enamel, which you can destroy by regular brushing after eating.

If tartar or stains from coffee or tea have appeared on your teeth, go for dental hygiene. Professional dental hygiene removes hardened plaque, which causes tooth decay and gum inflammation.
