Why is yoga suitable for spring detox?

About benefits of yoga much has been written already. However I must mention the most important ones: we practice yoga in calm, in peace and with fullest possible concentration on ourselves, thereby working not only with our body, but also mind. In parts of exercise where we strengthen body, we strengthen mind too, during cleansing exercises and techniques we also detoxify body and mind and in relaxation techniques we equally rest physically and mentally. Yoga thus supplies not only outer, but also inner strength, we feel more satisfied, relaxed and happier after it.

It also builds muscle strength, flexibility and perfects posture. Improves blood circulation, blood pressure, joint health and functioning of immune system. It is excellent prevention against back pain (if practiced correctly), because it strengthens whole area of core (center of body).

Besides mentioned advantages that yoga brings, yoga teaches us also full attention, mindfulness to own body. Thanks to it we feel changes in our body and mind more intensely even during period when we live healthier and start feeling that it is right for us, that we want to persist in it. And so spring detox can become long-term new lifestyle and that is exactly what we are about in Instagym. We want to help you feel pleasant changes and persist in exercise and suitable eating.  

What is most important in spring detox and yoga?

One of most important principles in YOGA is full and conscious BREATHING, which will also be very beneficial for us during spring cleansing. Breathing brings oxygen into body, which is important not only for life, but also for unleashing fire. Thanks to increased oxygen intake into organism during exercise we can ignite "inner fire" so that it will really burn better for us.

If person decides to cleanse their body and mind (get rid of old deposits), they should do so with knowledge that after cleansing they will introduce new eating, movement and relaxation procedures into their life, which will continue in principle of cleansing.

If we add quality food to it, our body processes everything effectively and has strength to break down foods so that unnecessary or harmful ones leave body as soon as possible. And our yoga practice significantly helps this. It tunes our organism correctly and creates environment in which internal processes, and especially metabolism, run effectively. From point of view of detox it is therefore important both in yoga and in other exercises to flow on wave of breath. Connect one position after another so that based on breathing phases they are connected into one whole, during which we "stoke our own fire properly" and also sweat. When we involve twist (rotational) yoga asanas, we accumulate heat that has power to burn.

Heat (fire) drives out of body everything that should leave and our cleansing (detox) occurs as prevention against diseases, fatigue, overweight and similarly. So let's go for it, just start! :)
