1. Fiber is good, we love fiber! Apples are excellent source of soluble and insoluble fiber, especially pectin. It helps lower cholesterol level and supports health of digestive system. This combination of fiber is specific for apples and makes them great food for healthy digestion, as well as weight maintenance.

2. Quercetin. Do you know what it is? Antioxidant found in apples quite abundantly, especially in skins. Has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, helps protect cells from damage caused by free radicals, thereby reducing risk of chronic diseases, for example heart diseases. 

3. Apples are rich in natural sugars (mainly fructose), providing quick and natural energy before or after exercise. Fiber slows down release of these sugars, preventing sudden energy drops. Moreover contain up to 85 % water, contributing to hydration of body during and after physical activity.

5. I have practical argument too. You can consume apples in many forms: raw, baked, in smoothies, as part of salads or desserts. Their specific texture and taste make them universal fruit fitting into many recipes. Unlike many other types of fruit apples can be stored long-term and are available year-round. Their durability and shelf life makes them practical fruit you can enjoy even out of season.
