
1. Fact is that superfoods have very beneficial effect on human organism, so it is good if you treat yourself to them regularly. However they should be part of complex versatile menu.
2. It is myth that superfoods work miracles. They don't. Very simply they represent healthy foods, which however in no case can replace wholesome diet, let alone medicines.
3. Fact is that among superfoods are ranked such foods that are rich in important nutrients, vitamins, minerals and fiber. All this is extremely beneficial for healthy functioning of organism. Expression "superfood" however is not professional. It is no scientific definition, although it cannot be denied that behind many foods considered superfoods stand scientific evidence.
4. It is myth that superfoods have positive effects absolutely for everyone, individual reactions to them can differ. It is important to monitor signals of your body, how given food affects your mental state, digestion and overall physical feelings. If you have allergy or intolerance, then definitely avoid consuming them.
5. Fact is that superfoods, like quinoa, chia seeds and broccoli, are rich in proteins and fiber, which can satiate body for longer time. This way they help you control appetite.
6. It is myth that superfoods directly cause weight loss. Weight loss is result of overall calorie deficit and balanced eating, together with physical activity.
