1. You feel dizzy, have trouble concentrating, have a headache, feel like you have a hangover... Indeed, these are also symptoms of salt deficiency. Don't forget that famous fairy tale about the youngest princess – she was REALLY right. You can't live without salt. It's just about whether you salt in moderation.

2. Salt enhances flavors. In production of semi-finished products, fast food, packaged, canned food this trick is heavily relied upon. And right here lies the source of the problem. If a large part of your diet consists of such foods, your salt intake can be unhealthily high.

3. Unhealthy effects of salt are most often talked about in connection with cardiovascular diseases. Experts do not agree unequivocally on this opinion. Some claim that sugar is the only culprit in this context too.

4. We often associate a good feeling from food with salty taste. We start salting without thinking, without tasting. If you have this bad habit too, start controlling it. Try to discover real tastes of meals, do it slowly, carefully, focus on the food and on your body's reactions to its aroma.

5. We don't assume you have any disgusting gastronomic fetishes, but we must ask you: how does sweat taste? Indeed, it is salty. Human body therefore contains salt and at the same time excretes it. The answer is clear: it needs it.
