1. Female urethra is shorter in women than men, so bacteria have a much easier path to the bladder and ureters. Another physiological "disadvantage" is also the position of organs. The lower third of the bladder in women is constantly exposed to bacteria from the vagina and rectum. Do not forget the correct direction of using toilet paper: front to back. 

2. When you feel the need to go to the bathroom, go as soon as possible. Don't rush. Not completely emptying the bladder is a more frequent phenomenon in women. 

3. Health over fashion. Instead of synthetic materials prefer cotton. If you usually wear very tight pants, try to change it gradually so that moisture and sweat get a free path and do not get trapped between clothes and your skin. 

4. Love is healthy, but urinary tract can get pretty sick from it. Inflammation or infection can also be triggered by increased sexual activity. It is recommended to empty the bladder and shower before and after intimate moments. 

5. You may know that when symptoms already appear, it is very essential to increase fluid intake. However, correct drinking regime is also prevention.
