1. Those who fight with extra kilos, surely already know at least one answer to why eat pumpkin: contains few calories. However, it is rich in vitamins , as well as in potassium and magnesium.

2. Fiber is super for digestion, you surely know that already. There is really a lot of it in pumpkin. It prolongs feeling of satiety after meal, so it will help you with maintaining healthy body weight.

3. Fiber also supports blood pressure regulation. In pumpkin it is found together with vitamin C and antioxidants, and this combination is not a bad prevention of cardiovascular problems at all.

4. What color comes to mind with the word "pumpkin"? Orange? Us too. The flesh of most types is toned like this due to content of so-called carotenoids. Among those belongs also beta-carotene, which is mentioned mainly in connection with carrots before vacation period in instructions for achieving nicely tanned skin. The true value of this substance lies in that in the body thanks to fat it converts to vitamin A.  

5. A good reason why eat pumpkin is also if you want to strengthen immune system. Besides vitamin C and vitamin A, vitamin E, iron and folates also play an important role in this area.
