1. Double chin is a fat layer in the area of face and neck. That is, mostly. In some cases, however, it is loose skin, which in exactly this part of the body is thinner and less elastic. With increasing age there is a loss of collagen and elastin, which causes skin sagging.

2. The cause of a second chin without being overweight can also be genetic factors. So, if you have an athletic figure, but you don't know why you can't lose weight from the neck area, look at what figure your parents have. Do you see a distinct double chin in any of them? So you probably have the answer...

3. You have muscles almost all over your body. Even in the neck and face area, and when they are flabby, it visually manifests just like elsewhere. Face yoga is an excellent solution to this problem. 

4. Besides face yoga, take care of your muscles all day, namely by correct posture. If you hunch over a computer all day, the risk of developing a double chin is higher for you. Forward head pushes fat under the chin forward and creates a double chin, moreover tense trapezius muscles result in a shorter neck.

5. Finally, even in this case we must note that if you want to solve it by weight loss, you won't succeed in reducing fat only in selected areas. Weight loss is a complex matter involving the whole body.
