1. Yes, people with high blood pressure should also play sports. Just it doesn't matter how and what. Disciplines requiring looser body movements have a green light, for example swimming, walking, gymnastics, some ball games. However lifting weights, strength exercises or combat sports can increase blood pressure even more.

2. During movement with high blood pressure it is necessary to breathe correctly – continuously, without holding breath. If you decide to try even some riskier sports discipline for you, then measure your pressure even during training.

3. When someone starts playing sports regularly, sooner or later they build also other habits that are beneficial for health. Regular movement requires regularity in diet, the body asks for vitamins, nutrients, "fuel" it needs. Not to mention that attention is redirected to the area of sports, healthy lifestyle, fitness world. So, that's why high blood pressure and sports are compatible.

4. Finally, the golden rule that applies to every health problem: consult with an expert. Listening to signals of own body is key, but sometimes doctors know more than our intuitions.
