
1. Alcohol and fit lifestyle are not friends. Many explain it mainly by fact that to very large extent it increases caloric intake. And even though we listed this fact in first place, we still think that this disadvantage belongs among least significant compared to consequences on health.
2. Regular drinking can excessively activate production of digestive enzymes in pancreas. This easily leads to pancreas inflammation. This health problem can become chronic, and you really don't want that.
3. It is more than likely that immediately after alcohol consumption you feel very good, relaxed and cheerful. However when body starts breaking it down, this effect is lost and very often turns into exact opposite, i.e. into bad mood, anxiety, sadness. Moreover, from long-term perspective it represents risk of depression.
4. Too large amount of alcohol at once can cause alcohol poisoning, which is potentially dangerous condition, and can have serious consequences, such as vomiting, disorientation, loss of consciousness and even death.
5. Alcohol can disrupt sleep and cause problems such as insomnia, disrupted sleep cycle and superficial sleep. Well, and health without night rest is extremely fragile.
6. Regular alcohol consumption can worsen immune system by reducing absorption of nutrients, can reduce production of white blood cells and antibodies, at same time increases risk of infections. Indirectly related to this problem is also disrupted sleep and overweight.
